“this lock is amazing, i own all 3 designs and this one is kept at work and is used everyday to give my bike full protection in the bike rack. I would recommend the this to anyone as it made out of heavy duty steel and has a reassuring feel to it. The key design is unique and is easy to distinguish on my keyring. I once let it off in the bike rack and it scares me so imagine what it would do to a potential thief!”

“Finally a lock with a hidden punch for anyone trying to get my bike for free! I cycle everywhere and sometimes you can't find that ideal, 'safe' place to park your bike and I get particularly uneasy when I have to lock it out somewhere in the evening. Now with my new lock I feel more confident about leaving my bike out and don't need to worry about it as much. Very pleased with my purchase.”

“I had worried about the safety of my bike in the past and when I got a new (Specialized stumpjumper FSR) last Christmas I was worried about it being stolen as I cycle to work each day and it’s a very busy area. I knew the bike would be insured but it’s how I get around so I wanted the best protection I could afford. Imagine my delight when I saw the “Tough Stuff” lock – nothing short of an arc welder could get through the steel body putting off any would be thief. What clinched the deal for me was the built in alarm. Thieves hate noise and I knew if anyone tried anything they’d be drawing a lot of unwelcome attention, well done SG Locks!”

“I commute to work every day and have to leave my bike outside work which is a constant nightmare as I never know if I’ll come back to find missing railings and my bike disappeared. After having one bike stolen I was recommended by a friend to try this lock, and I’m glad I did. The lock feels sturdy and looks really strong and the alarm feature is amazing!! It has gone off a few times as I can hear it from my office but when I go down to look my bike is in one piece and nothing is missing so it must be doing a great job.... highly recommended.”

“I have been using locks for motorbikes and push bikes for more than 20 years, commuting daily in big cities in Europe. I have used daily the SG Lock now for 3 month.
Locks have to be sturdy, practical and real deterrent against thieves. First point: the SG lock gives an impression of solidity. Its weight, similar to the other classic D lock, testifies for its robustness. Practicality: I have to admit that at first I had some minor hiccups with the locking system, starting the noisy alarm when I was either unlocking or locking. It's simply a little skill to acquire as for most keys. The advantage of these hiccups was that I have been able to test the effectiveness of the alarm: each time I attracted the attention of people around me, even provoking some to open their window to check what was going on. And this is the essential quality of the SG Lock: it's a lock and an alarm. If anybody tries to tamper with your bike and the alarm sets off. This gives a major additional protection. Overall the SG Lock provides the same mechanical advantages of any similar D lock, with the bonus of disturbing any thief or anybody trying to tamper with your bike.”
